A Spell Checking facility is available on fields such as Description
and Narrative fields which cater for the entry of free format text. Your
User Settings will determine whether
the facility is turned on and whether spell checking is carried out automatically
once you tab off the field, or manually using the Spell
Check button
on the toolbar.
Ignore Once: Leaves the highlighted error unchanged and finds the next misspelling.
Ignore All: Leaves all instances of the highlighted error unchanged and continues with the spell check.
Add to Dictionary: Adds the highlighted word in the Not in Dictionary box to the custom dictionary.
Change Once: Click Change Once to accept the current selection in the Suggestions box, or edit the text in the Change To box and then click Change.
Change All: Click Change All to change all instances of the word in the Not in Dictionary box to the word in the Suggestions box, or edit the text in the Change To box then click Change All.
Undo: Reverses the most recent spelling and grammar check actions, one at a time.
Options: Opens the Spell Checker Options window, where you can change the rules that the Spell Checker uses to detect errors.
Cancel: Closes this window, but does not reverse any changes you have made.
Here you can check or clear the various checkboxes to control what words will be flagged as errors. Default settings for this window depend on your User Settings. You can enter a new word or phrase above the Add command button and click Add to add it to the dictionary.
